I Build A Sewing Table

Well here it is. It is nearly complete, need some finishing details and shelves on the walls to hold all the trims, projects and whatnots. Fabric will be stored underneath. Now time to clear it off and get my projects all over it like a big hug, but I wanted to show you my tools of the trade. I did help build my house and those guys showed me a thing or two. Although working with pattern dimensions is not to different than working out structural measurements, not as many curves to work around, easy!

  5. Thank You, I appreciate that, You are so right- the big dresser-and the desk both sold this weekend, so now, starting all over, with trying to figure it out.
I like changing it, keeping it fresh, and new, something differ .. I would love to have a place big enough to do what you did, an area of kitchen, living room, bedroom, children I love pinks, little girls stuff, but then to like the french-rustic and golds-and most who buy like the blacks-the toile as much as all of us in blog land - magazines like burlap, most everyday folks, dont buy burlap chairs for home- so tricky trying to do what people buy-verses what looks good for design-.. Im sure you know what i mean.
Thanks again.. How fun to build a table from scratch...
